CloudSoda + the power of AWS

CloudSoda is ecosystem aware and storage agnostic. It includes Agents for Window, Linux, and Mac that can access almost any data and be able to move/copy or sync that data from anywhere to anywhere.

CloudSoda’s Dry Run function uses the settings of a requested job to predict the cost and duration before it is initiated, saving both time and money.

CloudSoda has a RESTful API that enables integrations with the industry’s most used MAMs, which allows users to benefit from Soda’s data movement and reporting capabilities without changing existing workflows.

In order to leverage AWS Media Intelligence services, content needs to be ingested into AWS. CloudSoda provides the data movement management to and from AWS, enabling the use of AWS Media Intelligence solutions while tracking storage movement in the cloud and offering valuable insight into the cost and speed of data transfers. Metadata generated by the Media Intelligence solution is leveraged by Media Asset Management systems, therefore having a CloudSoda integrated plugin that seamlessly does the data movement is critical. CloudSoda provides protocol agnostic connections that work with all siloed data and on premises storage.

CloudSoda was proud to be part of the thought leadership project “Found Lederhosen” at this year’s Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) Tech Retreat 2021. The multi-vendor architecture illustrated a modernized cloud-based collaborative workflow all the way from the camera, through work-in-process, delivery, and archive. By leveraging CloudSoda in this reference architecture, CloudSoda was able to provide never before seen context to creative end-users around the cost and time metrics to store and restore media from a cloud archive.
