Data management experts Morsch and Holick bring a track record of success and demonstrated customer-centric solutions focus

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – July 22, 2020 – Integrated Media Technologies Inc. (IMT), a leading media technology provider, today announced the appointments of Brian Morsch as senior vice president of worldwide sales and Greg Holick as vice president of product management for the company’s new software division. They will lead IMT’s advanced software division as it designs and develops innovative software tools and applications that automate and simplify business operations, workflows and hybrid cloud data management. These appointments come as the company looks to extend its leadership in technology services with new software products.

“Over the last 13 years, IMT has built an incredible company by listening to and fulfilling our customers’ complex technology needs. With the launch of SoDA, a refreshing new way to manage data from on-premise to the cloud, we needed first-rate professionals to lead the software division,” said Bruce Lyon, IMT’s CEO. “Brian Morsch and Greg Holick are proven leaders and highly accomplished data management veterans with the expertise, creativity and energy that embodies IMT’s culture and drive.”

Brian Morsch will focus on building a large enterprise software sales organization and driving the go-to-market strategy for the software division and its newly introduced intelligent data mover, SoDA, across all industries. He will build IMT’s software presence in key vertical markets and develop strategic partnerships where SoDA can strengthen the overall data management experience for customers. Morsch came to IMT from Pure Storage, where he was the sales director for the FlashBlade product. Prior to that, he spent the majority of his career at Quantum holding positions across sales and engineering management. Morsch brings more than 20 years of data management experience in strategic vertical markets geared toward efficiency and seamlessly managing large amounts of unstructured data to his new leadership role for IMT’s software business.

“I am excited to join IMT to bring new capabilities and experiences to customers around the globe,” said Morsch. “Customers are now implementing hybrid and multi-cloud environments, which introduces a new level of complexity. IMT’s flagship product, SoDA, is unique in its ability to simplify the traditional data management experience and provide predictive, actionable cost and data transfer metrics so that customers can optimize their on-prem and cloud storage.”

Greg Holick will oversee all aspects of shaping the product direction and roadmap for IMT’s software division and its inaugural product, SoDA. Holick will work closely with channel and workflow application partners to bring innovative solutions to customers, including SoDA, which gives users a smart, efficient way to manage the operating costs of their storage and cloud services. Holick’s experience includes 20 years of developing storage products for an array of industry verticals and use cases utilizing public and private clouds. Most recently, Holick was the principal product manager of cloud solutions at Seagate Technology. Before Seagate, he held various cloud product and technical alliance positions at Western Digital and Quantum Corporation.

“It’s a privilege to join a visionary company that works very closely with its customers to ensure they have the information, insights and technologies to optimize their on-prem and cloud storage platforms,” said Holick. “Public clouds provide numerous opportunities but create complexity when it comes to cost and access for many workflows. IMT’s SoDA solution is a game-changer in its simplicity and ability to predict cloud storage costs in real time, which gives users unprecedented control over their operating expenses for storage and cloud services.”

IMT’s software division provides customers with an exceptional view of the problems and complexities of on-prem and multi-cloud storage environments. These insights were the impetus for SoDA, a state-of-the-art enterprise software application designed to seamlessly manage and automate file movement in and out of the cloud and deliver actionable insight into the costs of storage and cloud services. SoDA solves critical storage management problems to make technical organizations more accountable and efficient. It is the culmination of IMT’s 13 years of experience designing, engineering and building modern storage management systems for more than 700 customers, including many Fortune 500 companies in the media and entertainment industry.
